The Emporia State Track and Field teams will be hosting the Midwest Classic Sunday.
Athletes from 15 schools will be competing.
Emporia States Alyssa Conway will be throwing the hammer. She has had a provisional throw for nationals and is ranked 14th in the nation.
Guy Ramos will be running in the 400-meter dash.
He will also be a part of the 4 by 100 relay and 4 by 400 relay.
Field events begin at noon with track events starting at 12:30 pm.
