Frosty conditions are possible across the KVOE listening area Tuesday morning.
Lyon, Coffey, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties are in a frost advisory from 1-9 am. Chase and Greenwood counties have been placed in a separate watch from 2 am to 9 am.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the mid-30s in Emporia, but they could get close to 32 degrees in rural areas, possibly damaging or killing sensitive outdoor plants. Frosty weather is not expected the rest of the week.
High temperatures should be in the 60s and 70s all week and lows after Monday night should be in the 40s and 50s the rest of the week.
