A brand-new job fair is giving young adults a chance to find a job and do some networking at the same time.
Southeast KansasWorks has organized its first-ever Young Adult Jobstravaganza, which is taking place Wednesday at Flinthills Mall. Youth Program Director Jennifer Graber says this comes at a time when employers are scrambling for help.
Besides the chance to get jobs, those attending will also get resume assistance if they want it.
The Jobstravaganza is from 10 am to 2 pm at the mall and features over 50 different employers, with part-time, seasonal and full-time jobs all available. This is geared towards young adults ages 16-24, but it’s open for all ages.
More information is available on the Southeast KansasWorks Facebook page.
