The Dynamic Disc Open is underway.
166 players are playing in the Professional Open. 117 for the men and 49 for the women.
The Pro Open divisions are playing their first two rounds at Jones Park on the newly designed Supreme 18.
Hailey King is the defending women’s champion and Paul McBeth is the 3-time defending men’s champion.
Catrina Allen, who is a 4-time Dynamic Disc/Glass Blown Open Champion, says she has to take it one hole at a time.
Allen also says she will be using this weekend as a preview for the Worlds tournament to be held in Emporia from August 30th thru September 3rd.
Ricky Wysocki, who won a World Championship in Emporia and is looking for his first DDO Championship, says he will need to play smart, especially taking the wind into consideration.
The Amateur Open rounds are being played on the Red and Blue courses at the Emporia Golf Course and on the Peter Pan Long and Short courses.
