Next week, part of Kansas Highway 99 traffic in central Greenwood County will be rerouted.
The city of Hamilton says K-99 between Main and Garfield will be closed starting Wednesday, weather permitting, as sewer line repairs take place. Local passenger vehicles and emergency vehicles can use Hamilton’s city streets to get around the work zone, but large trucks will have to detour to US Highway 75 by using Kansas Highway 58 near Madison or US Highway 54 near Eureka.
The closure and related detour should last around two weeks. People with questions can call the Hamilton city office at 620-678-3371.
