The Emporia State baseball team opens a 3 game series at Central Oklahoma. The Hornets go into the final 3 games of the regular season tied for 8th place in the MIAA Standings. Senior outfielder Sam Chaput says they just have to take care of their business.
The Hornets are tied with Newman and Northwest Missouri State for 8th place and has the tiebreaker over both schools.
Emporia State track and field teams will be competing at the Fort Hays State Alex Francis Invitational. It’s the final tune-up before next week’s MIAA Championships to be hosted by Emporia State.
