The Emporia High girls swim team finished in 3rd place out of 12 teams in the Emporia Invitational Thursday. They had 10 top 6 finishes and a state qualifier.
They were led by the divers, Cadance Vincent finished 2nd, Divinity Gardner 3rd, and Jacey Stuttler 4th and qualified for state.
Brooklyn Wiltz placed 4th in the 100 free and 5th in the 50 free.
Ana Chapman finished 4th in the 100 breaststroke.
Ryan Peak placed 6th in the 100 free.
Faith Finley finished 6th in the 500 free.
The 200 free relay team of Ryan Peak, Brooklyn Wiltz, Arianna Hamilton, and Alison Brown finished in 3rd place. The same 4 swimmers finished in 4th place in the 400 free relay.
