Emporia States Alyssa Conway has been named the MIAAs women’s field athlete of the week.
Conway set a school record while winning the hammer throw at the Fort Hays State Alex Francis Invitational.
Her throw of 189 feet 8 inches is the top throw in the MIAA and 10th nationally.
Emporia State will be hosting the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
