Emporia’s Granada Theatre has been ranked amongst the state’s best venues for high-quality entertainment.
The Granada was recently ranked fifth on the Best Thing In Kansas Best Music Venue top ten list. Rounding out the top five were Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, White Concert Hall and Country Stampeded, both in Topeka, and The Brickyard in Wichita.
Granada Theatre Director Rebeca Herrera says to make the list is an honor in itself, but when you consider the size of the other venues on the list and their locations, it’s an even more impressive accomplishment.
Herrera believes the theatre’s ability to offer a diverse selection of musical genres to the community is a major reason why its achieved the level of success it has.
The recent honor gives the Granada an extra boost of momentum as it continues to roll through the second half of its 2022 event schedule. Next up for the Theatre will be Lori Morgan on Saturday, May 14th.
