The Emporia High hosted Spartan Baseball Classic is scheduled to begin Friday at Sodens Grove.
The first game of the day will have Andover Central playing Blue Valley West at 3 pm. In the 2nd game at 4:45 pm, Dodge City plays Maize South. Emporia High will play Garden City at 6:30 pm.
Junior Jaxon Dial says they need to build some momentum going into the final 3 games of the regular season.
The tournament will wrap up with 3 games Saturday.
Saturday’s schedule:
10 am – Blue Valley West vs Dodge City
11:45 am – Maize South vs Garden City
1:30 pm – Emporia High vs Andover Central
