Burlington Northern Santa Fe continues its ongoing push to repair track crossings, and that effort is now near Emporia.
Several track crossings will be closed all day Tuesday:
*Road S between 150 and 160
*Road R between 150 and 160
*Road P between 160 and 170
*Road N between East South Avenue and Road 170
This project started late last month near Gardner and has already involved crossings in Osage and Coffey counties along with work near Neosho Rapids on Monday. The railroad plans to repair crossings further west into Chase County over the next few days.
