Lyon County Commissioners are meeting Thursday morning.
Commissioners will consider a pair of requests from Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods. Those requests will include consideration of approving an entrance application for Daniel Roemer near 2801 East 6th Ave. as well as a quote from central Sand to crush the county’s concrete rubble stockpile for fill material estimated at $80,000.
Discussions on a milling, surfacing and pavement project along Americus Road from US Highway 50 to Road 180 will also take place. Commissioners will hear a presentation from County HR Director Janice Huffman on drug and alcohol and employee assistance program policies.
Three executive sessions, one for legal and two for non-elected personnel matters are also scheduled. The meeting will take place at 9 am inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
