The Royals added 4 runs in the 9th inning. Emmanuel Rivera tripled with the bases loaded driving in 3 runs. Rivera scored on an error.
The Royals used 6 pitchers to hold the Rangers to 2 runs on 6 hits.
The Royals and Rangers play again tonight.
