5 Meet records were set at the Lyon County League track meet Friday night.
Madisons’ Casey Helm set the meet record in both the discus and shot put. He won the discus with a throw of 195-11 and won the shot put with a mark of 58 -10.25 inches.
Lebos Brookly Jones set the record in the javelin with a throw of 143-4.5. She also won the 400-meter dash.
Burlingames’ Daelyn Winters set the girls’ high jump record with a jump of 5-4 inches.
She also was part of the 4 by 400 relay that finished in 1st place.
Burlingames’ Matthew Heckman set the record in the boys’ high jump with a jump of 6-10.
Heckman also won the 400-meter dash and was part of the 4 by 100 and 4 by 400 relays that finished in 1st place.
Olpes Josie Orear earned 4 gold medals, winning the 100 and 200-meter dash, the triple jump, and as part of the 4 by 100 relay.
Darren Heins of Olpe won the 800, 1600, and was on the 4 by 800 relay that finished in 1st place.
Lane Bartley of Waverly won the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and triple jump.
Abby Peek of Lebo won both the pole vault and long jump.
Lily Hudson of Madison won both the 1600 and 3200-meter runs.
The Lebo girls and Madison boys won the league titles.
