Emergency personnel responded to a crash on the Kansas Turnpike near the Lyon-Wabaunsee county line, or about 24 miles northeast of Emporia, just before 11 am. Ultimately, two patients declined hospital trips afterward after one vehicle crashed and went off the highway.
