A Milford man has been arrested after an alleged shooting incident in Chase County late last week.
Kansas Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Melissa Underwood says 38-year-old Eric J McClure was arrested by Emporia Police shortly after he was released from Newman Regional Health.
McClure is accused of shooting at an SUV that was driving from Emporia towards McPherson on Kansas Highway 150 early Friday morning. A 33-year-old man from Emporia, currently unnamed, was shot but was treated at Newman Regional Health and released. Three others in the vehicle were put at risk, according to Underwood.
McClure was arrested on suspicion of three counts of aggravated assault and single counts of aggravated battery, felon in possession of a firearm and circumvention of an ignition interlock device. Formal charges are currently pending.
