From classics to rat rods, trucks and motorcycles, vehicles of all kinds will be in downtown Emporia on Saturday for the Flatland Cruisers Car Show.
Activities run from 9 am to 3 pm, including food, door prizes, a silent auction and an awards ceremony.
All proceeds help to fund scholarships for the Flint Hills Technical College’s automotive program, as well as donations to the Emporia Community Foundation’s Match Day. Spokesman Robert Sieberns says the club welcomes a chance to give back to the community.
Registration opens at 8 am, and people can enter their vehicles as they arrive. Sieberns says vehicles are already coming from as far away as Topeka and Wichita for the show.
