The Emporia High swimmers missed qualifying for a second swim at state but did have season-best swims.
The 200 free relay team of Ryan Peak, Brooklyn Wiltz, Alison Brown, and Arianna Hamilton finished in 18th place but had a season best time.
The same 4 swimmers finished in 19th place in the 400 free swim. They were seeded 24th and improved on their seed time by over 4 seconds.
Brooklyn Wiltz finished in 30th place in the 50 free.
Divers Cadance Vincent and Jacey Stutler will be competing in the finals Saturday.
