Emporia High will be sending 6 athletes to the State Track and Field meet to compete in 6 events.
Emporia High had 2 regional champions.
Kyle Obermeyer won the 110 hurdles. He also finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles and was part of the 4 by 400 relay that finished 2nd.
Fred Jackson won the 400-meter dash and was part of the 4 by 400 relay.
Cooper Rech qualified for the 400-meter dash with a 4th place finish. He was also a part of the 4 by 400 relay.
Blake Spellman was also a part of the Relay.
Daghyn True qualified for the 3200 meters run with a 3rd place finish.
Alexa Shivley qualified for state in the triple jump with a 4th place finish.
The State Track meet begins Friday 4-5-6A will compete in the morning.
