Lyon County deputies are looking for an individual who allegedly led a chase in northwest Lyon County on Monday night.
Deputy Zach Shafer says the alleged incident started with a suspicious vehicle call in the 300 block of Road 200 around 9:15 pm. Deputies arrived shortly afterward and tried a traffic stop but the driver instead drove away. Shafer says deputies pursued until the suspect vehicle crashed in the 3300 block of Road D on the Flint Hills Nature Trail west-southwest of Bushong.
Deputies searched the area for the suspect before calling off their efforts.
Deputies are not releasing the suspect’s name or description at this time. Residents who have information about this alleged incident are asked to call Lyon County Emergency Communications at 620-343-4225.
