Another blown lead for the Kansas City Royals in an 8-6 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday night.
After building a 6-3 lead with 3 runs in the top of the 6th. Arizona answered with 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th.
Taylor Clark was tagged with the loss after giving up 3 runs on 3 hits, two were 2 run home runs.
Offensively for the Royals, M J Melendez hit a 2-run home run in the 2nd and drove in a run with a double in the 6th inning.
Dairon Blanco drove in 2 runs with a single in the 6th.
The Royals have now lost 6 in a row and the last 3 losses have involved blown leads.
The Royals are off Wednesday. They will begin a 4 game series at Minnesota on Thursday.
