The State High School baseball and softball tournaments begin Thursday.
The Mission Valley baseball team will be playing in the 2-1A tournament at Great Bend. They open against Whitewater-Remington.
The Mission Valley softball team will be playing in the 2-1A tournament at Pratt. They will open against Spearville.
The Council Grove softball team will play in the 3A tournament at Manhattan. They will open against Rossville.
