A stolen vehicle highlighted by Emporia Police earlier this week has been found in Wichita. The suspect has not.
Police Capt. Lisa Hayes says Lyon County Emergency Communications got information from Sedgwick County about the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee being in a parking lot at a Wichita hotel. The Jeep was locked, unoccupied and apparently undamaged.
Hayes says Emporia Police is still asking for help in solving that vehicle theft and three nearby auto burglaries along Holiday Drive from early Monday that may well be connected.
