Gas prices are up nationwide. They are up locally as well.
In Emporia, gas is now anywhere from $4.16 to $4.19 a gallon. This is roughly a 10-cent jump from the Memorial Day weekend. Diesel prices, meanwhile, have stabilized between $4.89 and $5.19 a gallon.
Areawide, gas prices range from $4.09 a gallon in Strong City to $4.29 a gallon in Cottonwood Falls, Council Grove, Eureka, Lyndon and Osage City. Diesel ranges from $4.59 in Lyndon to $5.22 in Madison.
