The Golden State Warriors may be the favorites in the NBA Finals, but the Boston Celtics stole Game 1 on the road Thursday night.
Boston used a 20-2 run in the fourth quarter to beat Golden State 120-108 after trailing by 12 points going into the fourth. The key: seven straight made three-pointers to start the final period.
Al Horford led the Celtics with 26 points, including six three-pointers, while Jaylen Brown added 24 and Derrick White had 21. Steph Curry led all scorers with 34 for Golden State, while Andrew Wiggins chipped in 20 points.
The series stays in San Francisco for Game 2, which will be Sunday evening.
