There is a moderate chance of showers and thunderstorms for the rest of Saturday.
Officially, the Storm Prediction Center has areas west of a Lyndon to Lebo to Fall River line in a marginal risk of severe weather. Wind and hail are the main concerns, along with brief heavy rainfall and cloud-to-ground lightning.
Most of Sunday should be dry, but storm chances return to the area late Sunday night into Monday morning. There is a slight severe weather risk areawide for hail, high wind and brief heavy rain.
The southern half of the area — essentially along and south of Interstate 35 and US Highway 50 — is in a marginal risk for Monday afternoon and Monday evening.
