The Colorado Avalanche are off to their first Stanley Cup Final since 2001 after beating Edmonton in four games.
Artturi Lehkonen had the game-winner as Colorado won 6-5 in overtime Monday.
Trailing 4-2 in the third, the Avalanche took the lead with under seven minutes left. Edmonton sent the game to overtime with less than 4 minutes left. Lehkonen’s game-winner came at 1:19 into overtime.
The Avalanche now await the winner of the Eastern Conference Final between the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay. The Lightning look to even the series at 2 games apiece Tuesday night.
