Toronto’s power was ultimately too much for Royals starter Daniel Lynch on Monday.
Lynch gave up home runs to Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Santiago Espinal as the Blue Jays beat KC 8-0 at Kauffman Stadium. Lynch had cruised through the first three innings before starting to wobble.
Kansas City had two hits total, both coming from Michael A Taylor.
The Royals have now lost seven of their last eight and have baseball’s worst record at 17-36. The series continues Tuesday night with pregame at 6:30 pm and first pitch at 7:10 pm on 14 KVOE and 96.9 FM.
