The Yeager/Jenkins Catfish Tournament was s success this past weekend.
The top teams all had better than 200 pounds of catfish at final weigh-in:
*River Chubbies won with 266.4 pounds
*NRO was second at 226.6 pounds
*Dirty Hookers also finished in the money, taking third with 217 pounds.
The top five individual fish weights per team were used to calculate the winners.
The event was successful in another way. It generated over $5,100 for the Yeager/Jenkins Memorial Scholarship. The families of Jeremy Jenkins, Jason Jenkins and Clint Yeager, killed in a boating accident, hand out several scholarships to high school seniors, who have to write an essay on what family means to them.
