The Tampa Bay Lightning have evened the Eastern Conference finals at two games apiece after a 4-1 win over the New York Rangers Tuesday.
Tampa Bay found the back of the net in every period with goals by Patrick Maroon, Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat. Artemi Panarin scored the lone goal for New York late in the third.
The series now shifts back to New York’s Madison Square Garden for game five Thursday night. The Colorado Avalanche await the winner of the series after sweeping the Edmonton Oilers in the western conference final.
