The flood warning for the Cottonwood at Emporia currently runs until Thursday morning. The river was at 22.35 feet Wednesday, above the flood stage of 20 feet but below crest of 23.89 feet and down over a foot since midnight. Minor flooding may well continue until late Wednesday afternoon.
The warning for the Neosho at Neosho Rapids is underway until early Thursday morning. Moderate flooding is underway with the river at 23.12 feet, above flood stage of 22 and nearing the latest crest projection of 23.2 feet. The current forecast has the river going below flood stage early Thursday morning.

Moderate flooding is underway with the river at 23.09 feet, above flood stage of 22 and above the current crest projection of 22.6 feet. The current forecast has the river going below flood stage early Thursday morning.
