Men, women and children will be walking, running and celebrating the legacy of Tucker Lee in the second annual Truckin’ for Tucker event this Saturday.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the Everyone Plays Fund which helps families and kids pay for anything they need to get involved in local sports.
Organizer Gay Clark says the fund is open to all youth involved in any sport in Lyon County
The fund was established in memory of Tucker Lee who passed in 2021 from NUT Carcinoma a rare form of cancer.
The 5K will take place at the Lyon County Fairgrounds Saturday, June 11th, at 8 AM. The cost to participate is $25. For more information go to the Truckin’ for Tucker Facebook page.
