Emporia Public Works Crews have completed repairs on a waterline break that developed in central Emporia Thursday morning.
According to the City of Emporia’s Official Facebook page, the break developed on a 16-inch line mid-morning Thursday at the intersection of 15th Ave. and State Street.
Water has been restored to all customers in the area.

Emporia Public Works crews are working to resolve a waterline break in central Emporia.
According to the city’s Facebook page, a waterline break developed Thursday morning at the intersection of West 15th Ave. and State Street. The break developed on a 16-inch line with the cause of the break not yet announced.
