The Emporia Senior Spartans split a doubleheader with the Lebo Royals Tuesday night.
The Spartans won the first game 10-4. Drew Hess was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.
Owen Ruge and Andrew Ruxton were also 2 for 3 at the plate. Ruge scored 2 runs and Ruxton drove in a run.
The Lebo Royals won the 2nd game 5-4.
Aaron Ross led the Spartans’ offense going 2 for 3 with a run scored.
The Senior Spartans will be in action Friday when they play in a showcase tournament in McPherson.
The Jr Spartans doubleheader at Andover was rained out and rescheduled for July 16th.
