The Kansas City Royals outscored the Los Angeles Angels 12-11 in 11 innings Tuesday night.
The Royals scored 2 runs in the top of the 11th Whit Merrifield doubled to drive in Nicky Lopez and Kyle Isbel singled to drive in Merrifield.
The Royals gave up only 1 run in the bottom of the 11th.
Big games for Carlos Santana and Bobby Witt jr. Santana was 4 for 5 at the plate with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. He hit a 2-run home run in the 4th inning.
Bobby Witt Jr had 3 hits with 4 RBI. He hit 2 home runs, a solo home run in the 1st inning and a 2-run home run in the 9th.
With the win, the Royals have a winning road trip.
