The Emporia Police Department has safely located a 12-year-old resident who went missing for a little more than four hours Friday.
12-year-old Connor Kreitzer was listed as missing shortly before 4 pm Friday on the department’s Facebook page. Kreitzer had not been seen since 12:30 pm Friday afternoon.
Less than an hour after the initial post seeking information on his whereabouts, the police department announced he had been located and was safe.
Details on his disappearance or his whereabouts during that time have not been divulged.

The Emporia Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing child.
12-year-old Conner Kreitzer was listed as missing Friday afternoon. Kreitzer has not been seen since 12:30 pm Friday.
Kreitzer is a white male, 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighs 220 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with Fast and the Furious on the front with gray shorts.
