The Emporia Senior Spartan Baseball team wrapped up play in the Bob Hooper Showcast Tournament in McPherson Saturday with an 8-5 loss to the Aeros.
The Spartans scored a run in the 1st inning. The Aeros took the lead for good with 2 runs in the 2nd inning.
Vance Kinsey was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI for the Spartans. Madden Seidl was 3 for 4 for the game.
The Senior Spartans are now 2-8 for the season.
