The Oakland A’s outscored the Kansas City Royals 5-3 Sunday afternoon.
The Royals scored 3 runs in the 6th inning to take a 3-2 lead.
The A’s answered with 2 runs in the top of the 7th to re-take the lead for good.
Brady Singer suffered the loss going 8.1 innings giving up the 5 runs on 7 hits 5 strikeouts and 1 walk. Manager Mike Matheny called it a good outing.
The Royals begin a 3 game series with the Texas Rangers tonight. Kris Bubic will be the starting pitcher with the first pitch set for 7:10 pm.
