The Emporia High School football team is in the middle of their summer preparation for the upcoming fall season. Head coach Keaton Tuttle is pleased with the participation.
Coach Tuttle has also been happy with the improvement he has seen.
The Spartans will return 18 starters from last year’s team. One of them is Bobby Trujillo who starts at linebacker and running back. He says he’s looking forward to his senior season.
Another senior starter returning for the Spartans is left tackle Jayden Thomas.
The Spartans will start their first day of fall practice on August 17, they will kick off the season on September 2nd at Pittsburgh High.
