The woman accused of killing elite cyclist Moriah Wilson has been captured.
The US Marshals Service says 34-year-old Kaitlyn Armstrong was found and arrested Wednesday in Costa Rica after a 43-day search. Investigators believe Armstrong shot Wilson several times in Austin, Texas, in mid-May before flying to the New York City area and then to Costa Rica.
Armstrong is set for deportation to the United States, according to authorities.
Armstrong was the girlfriend of past 200 men’s champion Colin Strickland, but authorities say Strickland had a romantic relationship with Wilson while dating Armstrong.
