The Emporia Senior Spartans were swept by the Topeka Senators in a doubleheader Thursday night.
The Senators won the first game 10-5. Topeka scored 5 runs in the 4th inning to take control of the game. For the Spartans, Cam Geitz scored 2 runs and Jaxon Dial finished with 2 RBI.
The Senators won the second game 10-4. The Spartans tied the game at 3 in the top of the 3rd inning. Topeka broke the tie with 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning.
The Spartan Seniors fall to 4-12 for the season. They are scheduled to play in a tournament beginning next Thursday.
