Former Kansas City Chief Mitchell Schwartz has announced he’s hanging up his pads.
Schwartz announced his retirement Thursday after nearly a decade in the league. Schwartz was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 2012 and was signed by the Chiefs in 2016.
Schwartz played five seasons in Kansas City where he was a three-time Associated Press second-team All-Pro Selection, one-time first-team selection and a SuperBowl Champion in 2020. Schwartz was released from the Chiefs in March of 2021.
