Work is complete, however, some remnants remain on West 12th Avenue.
Emporia Communications Manager Christine Johnson announced traffic in both directions has been restored on West 12th after months of work to improve water lines in the area. Work wrapped up Thursday afternoon with cones and barricades set to be collected Friday morning.
Cones will remain around a large concrete patch near Grand Street until Monday, however, this will not affect traffic in the area. Work in the area began early in the year and saw a few setbacks due to weather conditions over the past several months.
