There will be good conditions for a leisurely bike ride Saturday night.
The Gravel City Night Out is launching Saturday evening. Visit Emporia Director LeLan Dains says there are a few differences between the ride and the Unbound Gravel races earlier in the year.
Riders have the option of 25- and 50-mile rides, although people don’t have to go those lengths to take part. Between 150 and 200 riders are expected.
Sign-ups will still be accepted Saturday from 12-6 pm at Gravel City Adventure and Supply Company, 716 Commercial. The rollout is at 6 pm from behind Gravel City, with riders hearing south to the Olpe area before returning. Live music and food trucks will be part of the event outside Mulready’s and the Trusler Business Center.
