Day two of the British Open is in the books.
Australian Cameron Smith is the day two leader after sinking five birdies on the front nine to finish the day -13. American Cameron Young is second at -11. Rory Mcllroy of Northern Ireland and Viktor Hovland of Norway are tied for third place at -10.
Veteran Tiger Woods missed the cut after shooting 75 to finish at 9 over par. Woods says St. Andrews is his favorite course, but he’s not sure he’ll play it again.
Round 3 is Saturday. The final round is Sunday.
