Baylor is the media’s choice to win the Big 12 football championship come December.
The Bears won the Big 12 crown last year. They received 17 first-place votes in the poll and tallied 365 points.
Oklahoma is picked to finish second. The Sooners got 12 first-place votes and had 354 points total. Oklahoma State is third with nine first-place votes. Texas had two first-place votes and is picked to finish fourth.
Kansas State is picked fifth without any first-place votes. Iowa State is sixth with one first-place vote.
Rounding out the media poll are TCU, West Virginia, Texas Tech and Kansas.
