The Emporia Reds 8 and under team was 2-1 at the USSSA Play with Heart Summer Championship over the weekend.
They defeated the Warriors out of Kansas City, Missouri 9-1, and defeated the Lee’s Summit Heat 22-7 in pool play. They were outscored by the Hays Hammers 10-9 in bracket play.
