The Jones Aquatic Center is closing the main pool Wednesday.
According to the city of Emporia, the pool will be closed for cleaning and is scheduled to be reopened at its normal time Thursday. All swimming lessons have been postponed for Wednesday.
The Aquatic Center’s lazy river and splash pad will still be open to the public during the cleaning.
