Construction continues at the Emporia Pavilions with three new tenants set to begin their operations later this year.
Developer Spencer Thomson tells KVOE News the plan is to turn the Shoe Show retail space over to business management by early August and spaces for Marshall’s and Ross Dress for Less to those management groups by mid-September. All three businesses should be open before the traditional holiday shopping season beginning around Thanksgiving.
The three retailers coming to Emporia this fall are the second wave of retail at 24th an Industrial after Hobby Lobby started its operations in 2017. Thomson says negotiations continue with several potential retailers that could lead to two different phases of expansion and construction if things go well.
