There are several items worth noting as part of the Lyon County Commission action meeting Thursday morning.
Commissioners will receive an update on Plumb Place from United Way of the Flint Hills CEO Mickey Edwards near the start of the meeting.
Commissioners have several items related to the Lyon County Highway Department, including a proposal to have Kirkham Michael and Associates provide engineering services for a special construction project affecting Americus Road from Americus to US Highway 56 as well as an agreement with the Kansas Department of Transportation for the same project.
Community Corrections Director Steve Willis will present the fiscal 2022 Juvenile Services quarterly budget adjustment report and other paperwork.
Rob Weiss with Lyon County Facilities will also present a request to remove tile and grind the Law Enforcement Center basement floor, along with a separate request to have bids on building controls at the center.
The meeting starts at 9 am Thursday at the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
